Inn / Pub Description: The Tuns at Staple House is a quintessential Country House and well established licensed wedding venue dating back to 1712 with grounds of approx 3 acres, set amongst the fruit orchards and farms of rural Kent in the delightful small village of Staple , just outside Wingham, Canterbury, Kent. As a privately owned and operated Country Inn we are able to offer a greater degree of personal service for your wedding day. Our focus is on freshly prepared food sourced from local suppliers, at times direct from organic farms in our area. Additional details: We have two rooms within the Inn, the dinning room comfortable seating for approx 30 guests, and the main Inn, which comfortably seats 60 guests. Both rooms are traditionally refurbished to expose oak beamed ceilings, inglenook fireplaces and polished wooden floors and panelled walls. This provides for an intimate rustic but professional setting for a formal wedding breakfast or buffet with a relaxed atmosphere.
During the evening guests up to approx 100 in total are able to party the night away.
Within the grounds we are able to offer a more formal format within the marquee which caters for 200, this has all the trimmings you would expect:- Red Carpet Entrance / Drapes and swags with tables decorated to match / silver service / Toastmaster, the options are endless.
