Beaulieu Abbey was once home to an Order of Cistercian Monks. The historic Domus, one of the two remaining buildings and formerly the lay brothers’ dormitory of this picturesque 13th Century Abbey, provides an enchanting and unique setting for up to 150 guests.
Formerly the 13th century Great Gatehouse of Beaulieu Abbey, Palace House is set in glorious grounds and gardens with immaculate spreading lawns and walkways overlooking the Beaulieu River. The house provides a beautiful setting for smaller more intimate wedding ceremonies and receptions for up to 60 guests.

The Domus itself can accommodate up to 150 guests for your seated wedding breakfast and evening reception. The room also has a stage perfect for a live band, singer or DJ and has a bar facility located within the room. The Domus is a self-contained area with it’s own entrance and car parking.

Directions by public transport: From London: Trains leave Waterloo at 30 minutes past each hour. Alight at either Southampton (journey time 1 hour 6 minutes) or Brockenhurst (journey time 1 hour 21 minutes).
From Bournemouth: Trains leave Bournemouth at 48 minutes past each hour. Alight at Brockenhurst (journey time 14 minutes).
From Southampton: (13 miles from Beaulieu) Taxi to Beaulieu (available at Station) or Solent Blue Line bus service no's 38, 39 to Hythe Ferry Yard. Then Catch bus no. 112 from Hythe to Beaulieu.
From Brockenhurst: (6 miles from beaulieu) Taxi to Beaulieu (telephone from station) or change platforms to catch train to Lymington Town. From Lymington Bus Station catch bus no. 112 to Beaulieu.
Directions by car: From the M3 take the M27 west bound, exit at junction 2, take the A326 and follow the brown tourist signs to the National Motor Museum, Beaulieu.
