Our 16 bedrooms are all en- suite and the gorgeous bridal suite has a double bath big enough for two plus the champagne! We are licensed for civil weddings and partnerships in our charming function suite so you are able to enjoy the whole or just a part of your day with us. For weekday weddings you may even hire the hotel exclusively for you and your guests.

Directions by public transport: The Fox & Hounds Hotel is just 200m from Eggesford Station which is linked to both Exeter mainline stations.
Directions by car: The Fox & Hounds Hotel is located on the A377 between Barnstaple and Exeter.
M5 travelling South: Exit Jnc 27 and take A361 towards Tiverton. Take A396 signposted Tiverton/Bickleigh until you reach A3072 to Crediton. Follow this until the junction of the A377 and head towards Barnstaple. After approx 14 miles you will pass Eggesford Station and the hotel is just after this on your left.
From Plymouth: Take the Weston Park Rd A386 signposted Tavistock all the way through Okehampton and as far as Follygate. Take the A3072 to Crediton then divert left briefly on the B3216 to Hatherleigh until you reach the A3072 towards Crediton once more. From here you reach the A377 to Barnstaple. After approx 14 miles you will pass Eggesford Station and the hotel is just after this on your left.
From Exeter: Take the A377 towards Barnstaple. Continue through Crediton and after approx 14 miles you will pass Eggesford Station and the hotel is just after this on your left.
