Marmadukes is 600 metres from the ancient city gates of Bootham Bar, opposite St Peter's School (est. 621 AD) and just a short distance from York Minster.

We are on the Thirsk Road (A19) from the Centre of York.

It�s a five minute walk to the gates down Bootham, which is one of the oldest roads in York. Bootham itself is an oasis of tranquillity in this lively medieval city.
