If you are planning on getting married in Cornwall it would be difficult to find another wedding reception venue more romantic and idyllic than The Well House - with breath taking views and some of the finest food available any where in the West Country.

We specialise in small, intimate receptions, for up to around 65 guests for a seated hot Wedding breakfast or up to 120 for an informal buffet, each designed to your own individual requirements and budget.

Our multi-award winning Hotel is a nine bedroomed luxury Country Manor House, situated just minutes from the A38 making it easily accessible from any part of the Country.

Food is definitely to the fore here. We are one of the county�s top luxury Hotels and Cornwall's only country house hotel whose restaurant has been awarded 3 AA Rosettes - and in our case for 21 consecutive years! We have twice been voted the Good Food Guide�s �County Restaurant of the Year�. The 2008 Good Food Guide lists us in the top seven �Best for Breakfast� in the Country. And the experience needn't be wallet numbing either, as we cater to most budgets.

Accommodation: A nine bedroomed luxury Hotel tucked away down a quiet leafy lane on the gentle slopes of the Looe Valley in one of the finest locations in South East Cornwall.

The ambience of a private country manor house is purposely retained. You will find no room numbers on the doors, no racks of tourist leaflets in the hall.

What you will find however is luxury and comfort together with a friendly, yet discreet, service which is second to none.

Each of our bedrooms has been individually designed - some contemporary, others in a more traditional country house style. Each has its own bathroom complete with bath and electric shower, TV, telephone and high speed broadband internet access. None of our rooms are standard - choose from Superior Rooms in cool creams with crisp linens to Large Superior Rooms with bay windows overlooking our gardens.

Directions by public transport: We are within easy travelling distance from the main railway stations at Liskeard and Plymouth and both Plymouth and Newquay airports.

Directions by car: From London and the Home Counties take the M4 to Bristol, or from the Midlands and North the M6, then the M5 to Exeter and A38 to Plymouth. Cross the Tamar Bridge into Cornwall.

Stay on the A38 towards Liskeard taking the A390 into Liskeard town centre. From the centre of Liskeard take the B3254 to St Keyne.

Follow this road for approximately three miles into the village of St Keyne. At the end of the village, the road sweeps round to the right in front of the church. There is a small lane that carries straight on - signposted to St Keyne Well. Take this lane and you will find the hotel on the left hand side after approximately three quarters of a mile.
