Description: Norwood Park is often described as one of England�s finest examples of Georgian country house venues. It combines both Georgian architecture, attributed to John Carr of York, with over one hundred acres of deer parkland, adorned with ancient oaks and orchards born out of the original Bramley apple developed in Southwell in the 1840s.

Norwood Park was awarded its marriage license in 1998, but couples were married under the Ancient Oak in Saxon times, so marriage is part of the great history of Norwood. In present times, the Civil Marriage for up to 75 guests can be held in the elegant Drawing Room with its magnificent views across the parkland towards the lake. A Dedication of your marriage can be arranged, following the ceremony, weather permitting, in the South facing gardens for up to 180 guests. Norwood Park is an exclusive hire venue so you can relax with your guests and your guests only.

Type of cuisine: Andrew and Andrea Henson work with the Client to create a menu that reflects their tastes; not ours. We do not impose specific options, or specify a formal 3 Course Meal. If you want a Hog Roast in the Courtyard, or Champagne and Canap�s overlooking the Lake, you can have them. We are extremely proud of Hensons and our on-going working relationship.
Accommodation: The suites and rooms we do make available to guests are decorated incorporating the original features of the House.

Florist: Our in-house florist talks to the Client to distinguish their preferences. Your flowers play a large part in dressing this stunning venue to reflect your personality. Teri can create bouquets you simply will not want to throw away.

Additional details: As well as being a great venue we can help with any aspect of the day, from organising a chocolate fountain or wedding cake, to wedding nannies to take care of the little ones, or fireworks for a grand finale.
