The internationally renowned Maritime Academy has educated students for over 60 years and is amongst the top institutions in the country for education, training, consultancy and research into the international shipping industry.
The tranquil site is dotted with a range of listed buildings, converted coastguard cottages and a grand old private house all offering exceptional views over they countryside surroundings and the river Hamble.

Outside space: We have an outdoor patio area with superb views over the river Hamble as well as ideal lawn locations for your wedding photographs.
Parking: We have a limited number of parking spaces available.

Type of cuisine: Renowned for our catering services, we can provide for all tastes. Aramark our caterers have been recognised by gaining the ISO 9002 quality accreditation which guarantees you the highest standards. We like to tailor the reception to your needs and wishes and will happily adapt and change so that you can feel completely comfortable in your options.
Accommodation: We are able to offer accommodation for you at Hamblemeads, our onsite guest house. Once a grand private house, Hamblemeads offers fully furnished, en-suite accommodation at a highly competitive rate whilst the Hamblemeads garden area is a perfect natural location for your wedding pictures.

You are cordially invited to the Warsash Maritime Academy Wedding fayre.
Nestling beautifully along the South coast, Warsash Maritime Academy offers an outstanding, picturesque location for your wedding reception.
The reception rooms will fully set up and laid out in a variety of styles allowing you to see how your wedding could look. The accommodation will also be available to view and our quality accredited caterers will be on hand to let you sample the options available.
The wedding fayre will also bring together leading local suppliers giving you an outstanding opportunity to sample and experience every aspect of your wedding day in our fantastic venue.
Directions by car: From the west:
Exit the M27 at junction 8 taking the third exit towards the A27. Remain in the nearside lane approaching the Windhover roundabout. Take the first exit onto the A27 towards Fareham. Continue for 2½ miles (crossing the River Hamble at Swanwick Marina) and then turn right at the top of the hill, by the church in Sarisbury Green, into Barnes Lane. At the end of Barnes Lane turn right into Brook Lane. After ¾ mile you will reach the Warsash village mini roundabout. Go straight over into Newtown Road. Warsash Maritime Academy is approximately ½ mile ahead on the right hand side. From the east:
Exit the M27 at junction 9 turning left at the end of the slip road towards the Sedgensworth roundabout on the A27. Stay in the offside lane approaching this roundabout. Take the westbound A27 exit towards Park Gate (not Warsash). Continue on the A27 over two further roundabouts. At the third roundabout (Esso garage on left) turn left into Brook Lane. On reaching the next roundabout take the 3rd exit (still Brook Lane). Continue for 1 mile until you reach Warsash village mini roundabout. Go straight over into Newtown Road. Warsash Maritime Academy is approximately ½ mile ahead on the right hand side.
