Venue type: Historic Building Description: Hagley Hall is the 18th Century home to Lord & Lady Cobham. Set in 350 acres of spectacular landscaped parkland the Hall, with its ornate State rooms and rich Rococo décor, offers a splendid and unique venue for your wedding day.
Bespoke Weddings
Exclusive use of the Georgian Palladian Mansion permits civil ceremonies and drinks receptions which together with our experienced staff and bespoke wedding service will ensure that your special day is certainly one to remember.
The versatility of the Hall means you can choose to have a civil ceremony and reception for up to 110 guests or a ceremony, reception and wedding breakfast for 110 or a traditional wedding champagne reception (standing) for 250. Larger parties can easily be accommodated in a marquee within the grounds.
Based on years of expertise Hagley Hall provides a second to none location with warm hospitality and fine dining – all designed to enhance the magic of your special day, whether it's a civil ceremony, wedding breakfast or both.
For winter weddings, depending on your numbers and preferred room layout, a fire can be lit in the grand fireplaces throughout the hall creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.
Civil Ceremonies At Hagley Hall we understand that the ceremonial room needs to be perfect for such a special occasion. Therefore we have been careful to license a selection of State rooms so that no matter what your requirements you are sure to find a room that suits your wishes. The Saloon, with its ornate plasterwork, offers the most beautiful and historic setting with quintessentially English views of the village church and cricket ground. With 90 chairs arranged in theatre style and further standing room for up to 10 guests you still have plenty of room for a generous central aisle.
If your numbers are up to 120 then the Long Gallery with its breathtaking chandeliers and enchanting views of the deer park makes for a fairytale setting and at 26 metres long will make it perfect for showing off your wedding dress!
For smaller parties the Library offers intimacy and romance and provides a wonderfully snug setting for as few as 2.
Champagne Receptions
After the ceremony, enjoy champagne and canapés in the White Hall serenaded by a string quartet or even a solo pianist on the Family's baby grand piano. The Hall is flooded with sunlight and its wonderful arched lobby and scagliola figures of the Gods (including Bacchus and Venus) couldn't be a more perfect location to toast the newly wedded couple.
Wedding Breakfasts
Again the versatility of the Hall allows us to accommodate your every desire to make sure you get the fine dining experience that you deserve on your special day.
The exquisitely decorated Long Gallery, with its oyster coloured silken wall coverings seats 110 people on round tables of 10 with a traditional long top table providing lavishness in both style and decor.
For smaller parties the Saloon can seat 60 on round tables and the richly decorated Crimson Dining Room, overlooking the front lawn and beyond to the Abberley, Malvern and Clee Hills, is ideal for intimate dining for up to 28.
Whatever you choose you can rest assured that your special day is one that you and your guests will remember.
