Directions by car: Most guests arrive by car. Take the M5 to Tiverton (exit 27), then the new A361 to South Molton. Here, take the B3226 Crediton Road. After 5.2 miles, turn right up the hill to Chittlehamholt. Highbullen is half a mile beyond the Exeter Inn on the left. Although Umberleigh is the postal town, it should be ignored since it is some distance away. Similarly Chittlehampton and the hamlet of High Bullen (near Torrington) should also be ignored.
