Additional details: The Mansion This magnificent Grade II listed building is the ideal setting for a romantic civil ceremony and wedding reception, with excellent rooms, features and photo opportunities, not least with the magnificent stained glass window on the original wide oak staircase. The Broadwood Bar and Garden Lounge, overlooking the Sunken Garden, Wedgwood’s and Sonnets opening onto the terrace, command unspoilt views over the grounds and surrounding countryside. The Mansion, with a range of 48 individually styled, air-conditioned bedrooms and suites is ideal for small parties or civil ceremonies and receptions up to 150. The privacy of the Vaults Suite, with Wren’s Bar, the Lemon Tree for dancing and Vines for dining, is superb for your evening event.
Wroxall Court Exclusive listed courtyard building with its historic landmark clock tower, Wroxall Court provides another delightful venue for a civil wedding ceremony and reception. Tapestries, a light and airy, beamed hall, Arches Bar & Bistro, the impressive Bridal Nautical Suite – room 23, and the 21 other bedrooms and suites which are also located within the Court. The Court with the large bay trees, and lights around the cobbled square works well for al fresco gatherings and self contained wedding parties up to 100 guests.
Sir Christopher’s Walled Garden & Grand Marquee The Estate offers a number of beautiful outdoor settings, ranging from well-tended lawns with unrivalled vistas to Sir Christopher Wren’s walled garden. This is the perfect place to hold a marquee or outdoor reception, with its ancient fruit and rose trees and lush yew hedges for guaranteed privacy. The Grand marquee facilitates larger weddings up to 300 and an exclusive private location for the whole day. Directions by car: From the East Midlands (M1/A14)
1. From the M69/M6 interchange follow signs for the A45 Coventry Southern Bypass. 2. Take the exit for the A46 to Warwick 3. Before reaching the M40 turn on to the A4177 to Solihull and Balsall Common. 4. At the second roundabout join the A4141 to Wroxall. 5. After approximately one mile, the entrance to Wroxall Abbey Estate will be on your left hand side.
From London (M40)
1. Exit the M40 at Junction 15 and take the A46 towards Coventry and Warwick. 2. After about 2 miles take the first exit and turn onto the A4177 to Solihull and Balsall Common. 3. At the second roundabout join the A4141 to Wroxall. 4. After approximately one mile, the entrance to Wroxall Abbey Estate will be on your left hand side.
From the South West
1. Exit the M5 at Junction 4A onto the M42 then follow the instructions below… 2. Exit the M42 at Junction 5 and take the A4141 to Knowle 3. Follow this road through Knowle and continue towards Warwick. 4. After approximately ten miles you will have passed through Chadwick End and Baddesley Clinton. 5. The entrance to Wroxall Abbey Estate will be on your right hand side.
From the North (M6)
1. Exit the M6 on the M42 heading South (Junction will vary depending on M6 / M6 Toll) 2. Follow “From the South West” instructions from point “2”.
