Venue type: Historic Building
Description: Just a pebble's throw from the seafront, The Old Market is a unique venue for both Wedding or Civil Partnership Ceremonies and Receptions.
Set in the heart of Brighton & Hove, the beautifully restored Grade II listed Regency building, is located in an area of outstanding architectural heritage - a charming and historic setting by the sea.
The venue’s ‘Bryson Hall’ is an extremely versatile space (previously containing the covered market hall), and maintains many of the original architectural features - such as the wooden oak-beamed roof.
It is widely adaptable to many types of occasion, from the formal to the more informal, and with state-of-the-art sound and lighting equipment, many transformations can be made. With dining facilities for up to 180 guests, there is also ample room for your guests to dance into the evening after the meal.
The experienced and friendly staff at The Old Market will offer help and advice with everything, from the catering, to the creation of the perfect atmosphere, to ensure your day runs smoothly and is as special and as memorable as possible.
