Description: Situated on the borders of Blackheath and Greenwich Park, with the Meridian Line passing through its grounds, Ranger's House is an elegant early Georgian villa with graceful panelled interiors. It was built around 1700 as the official residence of the Ranger of Greenwich and is now home to the Wernher Collection, a glittering spectacle of 700 Renaissance works of art. With somptuous interiors, Ranger's House is a stylish and memorable setting for special events. The gallery, with its rich wooden floor and panelled ceiling, offers a perfect setting for civil ceremonies, drinks receptions and dinners. Its three bay windows offer views across the private walled garden, Greenwich Park's rose garden and the Heath.
