WEDDINGS AND OTHER CELEBRATIONS AT THE BARN � a unique and nicer private event venue.

The site on which The Barn is now located has a history of having hosted weddings and leading social events in Tunbridge Wells, in previous years when it was known as �The Elizabethan Barn�.

The site was then sold off for development in the 1970�s and the present Barn was rebuilt using some of the materials, such as beams and bricks, from the original property.

The current business has been owned by two very experienced caterers and restaurateurs, ably assisted by the General Manager, Philippe Sorak, since 1992.

Philippe, in turn has gathered around him an excellent team in the restaurant, bar and kitchen to create what is widely considered to be the nicest pub restaurant in town.

The bar and restaurant have recently been totally refurbished whilst retaining the traditional features of a barn which helps create the unique character and atmosphere which has made the venue so popular.

Directions by car:
The Barn is located just off Mount Pleasant Road (50 yards from the railway station) in Lonsdale Gardens which is a private estate. It is close to the theatre and major shopping areas. Being part of a private estate there is parking facilities for Barn customers in the evenings and weekends, which is a unique facility within Tunbridge Wells town centre.
