Venue type: Landscape / Botanical Gardens Description: Dorney Court has been the home of the Palmer family for more than 450 years, passing from father to son through thirteen generations. It is a Grade 1 listed building, further designated as being of outstanding architectural and historical interest. The gardens of Dorney offer one of the most romantic settings for wedding receptions, and countless stunning backdrops for photographs.
Although wedding receptions cannot be held within the house itself, the grounds of Dorney Court are available to hire exclusively for you to create a perfect marquee wedding venue. Depending on the time of year, a drinks reception for up to 60 guests may be enjoyed within the house, and then the remainder of the day including the wedding breakfast and disco would need to take place in a marquee on the lawns adjacent to the house.
The facility fee to hire the house and/or grounds of Dorney Court is priced from £3500 + VAT depending on the number of guests and time of year. All other costs such as the marquee, catering, power, lighting and furniture are charged additionally. As each wedding that is hosted at Dorney is individually tailored around you, we will be there to advise throughout the whole process.
