Additional details: You can now hold both your civil wedding ceremony and reception at the Gardens. Each of our three suites are approved by the Birmingham Registry Office for civil ceremonies and further information can be obtained from our Marriage Representative or Marriage Deputies. The Garden Suite is approached through the magnificent Tropical House and Terrace Glasshouses, and is the ideal choice for the large social functions of between 180 and 400 guests. The stage area complete with private dressing room is ideal for all types of entertainment. The Terrace Suite with its own private entrance from the Cacti House is perfect for cocktail parties of up to 250 people or lunches and dinners for up to 170 guests, and has its own bar with lounge area, stage and dressing Room.
The Loudon Suite is an exquisite Victorian style dining room enjoying sweeping views across the Botanical Gardens. It is perfect for smaller functions up to 60 guests. The adjoining conservatory and veranda provide an ideal location for your reception.
Directions by car: From M6 South or North-West
Leave the M6 at Junction 6 and follow the A38(M). Follow signs to City Centre and South - A38(M). Do not take any exit to left. Go over the flyover and through Queensway tunnel. On leaving the tunnel, indicate left, keep in the nearside lane and drive up the parallel running slip road (Gt Charles Street) to the Paradise Circus island. Take the 2nd exit (A456 to Kidderminster), drive along Broad Street to the FiveWays island and take the 2nd exit (Calthorpe Rd - B4217). Turn right at the traffic lights and drive alongWestbourne Road to the Botanical Gardens.
From M40 Oxford and South
Arrive on the M42 and travel west towards the M5. Travel north on theM5leaving at Junction 3. (see below).
From M5 South-West
Leave the M5 at Junction 3 and travel towards Birmingham City Centre along the A456 (Hagley Rd) for 4 miles. Turn right at Norfolk Road (B4129), first left along Augustus Road and then right down Vicarage Road.
