Additional details: The Great Hall is simply delightful for your Wedding Breakfast with its awesome 100ft high vaulted ceiling and minstrel’s gallery. This magnificent hall can seat up to 120 guests for the Wedding Breakfast. If you have over 120 guests or if you really want to take advantage of Bisham Abbeys spectacular setting we can also erect a marquee on the riverside lawn for upto 1000 guests!
For smaller more intimate weddings under 80 we can tailor your wedding to suit your particular requirements, The Warwick room with its dark oak paneling and large stone fireplace is ideal for a more intimate meals for smaller wedding parties. The Warwick room is also licensed for Civil ceremony and makes for the perfect romantic setting to say your vows with the Abbey's extensive lawns as your backdrop.
The Margaret Dickinson Lounge, bar and patio is where the fun begins and leads directly out onto the lawn as an ideal Reception and evening function suite. With views of the river this room informally allows guests to relax with their welcome drinks in hand and enjoy the peaceful surroundings of this exceptional venue.
There is onsite accomodation for upto 47 guests and discounted rates with local hotels for those who cannot stay with us.
Directions by public transport: Trains-
Mainline trains run into High Wycombe and Maidenhead. Both stations are approximately 10-15 minutes in a taxi to Bisham Abbey NSC. Marlow does have a station which can be reached via connections, however the service is limited.
Directions by car: From London Direction on M4- Exit at J8/9 Maidenhead onto the A404 towards Marlow and High Wycombe. At the Bisham/Temple roundabout, take the first exit. There is brown signage at the roundabout exit. Go past the left hand side Temple Lane exit and the entrance to Bisham Abbey NSC is straight after this on the left hand side.
From Oxford Direction on M40- Exit at J4 High Wycombe onto the A404 towards Marlow and Maidenhead. At the Bisham/Temple roundabout, take the first exit. Go past the left hand side Temple exit and the entrance to Bisham Abbey NSC is straight after on the left hand side.
