Country House Description: Great Fulford has everything to make your wedding unique, individual and memorable. Above all else though, we want your celebration here to be fun.
This is an historic and unique venue, with a charm that could never be found in a hotel, marquee or hall. Use of the house and grounds is exclusive to your party, and available in advance for preparation. Great Fulford also offers excellent value, as we do not charge for the usual wedding ‘extras’ such as corkage.
The house and gardens are set with extensive parkland, and overlook the stunning Great Lake. The Great Fulford estate extends to over 3,000 acres, providing a peaceful and exclusive situation.
Internally the house boasts an interconnected suite of large entertaining rooms; so treat your guests to Champagne in the Great Hall, dinner in the Great Dining Room and dancing in the Grand Parlour. For more information about each of these individual rooms please visit our website.
Alternatively, Great Fulford boasts some superb external locations should you wish to use your own marquee. A favourite site for a summer evening party is on the opposite side of the lake to the house, using the floodlit house as backdrop. Or if you need more space, the house can be easily joined with a marquee to accommodate very large party numbers.
