Thistle Haydock Hotel by Air Manchester International Airport is 18 miles away, approximately £35 by taxi. Exit the airport straight onto the M56. Leave the M56, signposted M6 North (Preston). Exit M6 junction 23. Liverpool John Lennon Airport is approximately 20 miles. Follow sings for Knowlsey Express Way and onto A580 towards Manchester, then A49 towards Ashton.
Directions by car: From the M6 (Jct. 23), follow "Haydock Park Racecourse" signs onto the A49 towards Ashton in Makerfield. Once on the A49, take the 1st left, drive under the bridge and take the next left turn into the Thistle Haydock entrance. There are 170 car parking spaces available at no charge.
