Historic Building Description: Set in the heart of historic Clifton, the entire hall is made available exclusively to your party during the day. The reception room, with a Steinway Piano and numerous paintings and antiques, the dining room, seating up to 100 guests with French doors leading out onto the terrace, the beautiful garden and the smaller rooms upstairs are all yours.
Whether it's the little details or the larger decisions, we can provide help and advice with the expertise of our Events Manager, Gary Aldwell. Gary is butler to the Society and can act as toastmaster on the big day. He has years of experience in organising weddings and can advise on those extra touches to make your day even more special.
The competitive hire charge includes Gary’s services and use of the Society’s antique silver table pieces. You may also like to consider having our footman on duty; dressed in his full red livery and top hat, he can greet and assist your guests during the day.
Of course, even though this is a very traditional building you may wish to break with the idea of a traditional wedding reception and opt for something a little different. A Champagne and canapé reception perhaps, or how about afternoon tea on the lawn? The Hall offers such flexibility and we are always on hand to discuss any ideas you may have.
The Hall is licensed to conduct both marriages and civil partnerships, as well as host receptions, so please feel free to give us a call to discuss your wedding in more detail and to arrange to view the Hall and see for yourselves the facilities on offer.
