Additional details: Broadoaks is the first premises in the country to be licensed to hold the wedding ceremony outside. This secluded paradise is surrounded by the stunning Lakeland fells and framed by the river Troutbeck which runs alongside the hotel from within a deep valley. You can hear the soothing rush of the water whilst you take in the beautifully landscaped and manicured grounds which surround this fantastic house.
Built in 1840 as a summer residence for a military gentleman the house was extended in 1890 to include a music room decorated with ornate William Morris plaster work from the Arts and Crafts era.
With 14 beautifully appointed rooms and a Luxury suite Broadoaks has the perfect room for every occasion, enjoy spa baths, Hand-screened wallpapers with natural inks, Egyptian cotton sheets, cow shed toiletries, Flat screen TV’s, incredible views and all surrounded by truly breathtaking scenery.

This Takes You Through To Windermere. Carry On Past The Windermere Hotel Staying On The A591 Towards Ambleside.
You Will Arrive At A Mini Roundabout Carry Straight On (Second Turning Off)
Carry On Along The A 591 As Far As The Esso Garage On Your Left (Troutbeck Bridge)
50 Yards Past The Garage On Your Right Is A Sign For Troutbeck And The Youth Hostel. This Is Bridge Lane.
Turn Right Here And Go On Up The The Lane For Approximatley 3/4 Of A Mile.
You Will See The Entrance To Broadoaks On Your Right Hand Side.
