Additional details: The Lake District is a unique place every day of the year and provides the most romantic backdrop for your wedding photographs and a very popular destination for your guests to visit. Although Spring and Summer weddings are still the most popular, the Inn on the Lake plays host to an increasing number of Autumn and Winter weddings.
In October when the leaves are turning golden yellow and the roads are less busy, until later on when the air is cold and crisp and the top of the mountains are covered in snow and the lakes look even deeper, the Inn on the Lake is a warm and welcoming place to greet your guests with a glass of hot mulled wine or winter punch in front of one of the roaring fires.
A Christmas wedding at the Inn on the Lake can simply be described as a fairytale come true. From November until early January when the hotel puts on its magical Christmas dreamcoat inside as well as outside and the hotel is oozing a warm and welcoming Christmas atmosphere, there can be no better time to celebrate a wedding with family and friends.
