450 acres of veteran oaks, the last remnant of the royal hunting forest, offer tremendous photo opportunities to remember your special day. Set in a delightful rural location, Sherwood Forest National Nature Reserve is very accessable and has good carparking
Weddings are celebrated in the newly refurbished Oak Room, and receptions a hosted in the near by Forest Table Restaraunt. Our experienced catering team will be delighted to meet your needs, from a formal wedding breakfast to an open air hog-roast, and will ensure your guests have a great time.
For weddings held in the afternoon, with reception from 4.30 pm, the venue hire of the Oak Room and exclusive use of the Forest Table starts at just £300.

weddings are normally held in the afternoon, typically 3 pm, so that after the ceremony and the photographs the Forest table is available for your exclusive use.
The visitor centre closes to the general public at 5.30 p.m.
