Country House Description: Probably the oldest Wedding Venue in the South West! This 500 year old historic Country House is set in 600 acres of pasture and woodland. It overlooks a Trout Lake with easy access to the sea. The approach to the House is down a mile long tree lined drive with pasture either side. This was indeed the House made famous by Mother Hubbard - The Housekeeper - who wrote her rhymes for the children of the family. More recently it has featured in many films and on television. Since becoming a hotel, Kitley House has created a memorable wedding day for hundreds of couples and their guests.
