Additional details: The Museum currently has on offer two rooms, the Music Room and the Jubilee Room, which are well suited to smaller and more intimate gatherings, the latter having been recently refurbished in gold and red. There is no charge to your guests attending your wedding and they are welcome to look around the museum prior to the ceremony. Smoking is not permitted.
Directions by public transport: There is ample free parking on site, with coach and accessible parking bays. The Bowes Museum is 17 miles from Darlington rail station on the East coast main line.
