Venue type:
Barn / Oasthouse / Farm Description: Cripps Barn is an 18th-Century Cotswold stone barn wedding venue in a lovely, isolated position by the Coln Valley in Gloucestershire.
We are surrounded by a wide choice of accommodation ranging from free camping on site, through self-catering, lovely pubs with rooms and B & b's, to boutique and spa hotels.
You will see from the Customer letters on our website that we cook fantastic, uncomplicated food using the best possible ingredients, and that we have great staff who will look after you fantastically well but in a relaxed and informal atmosphere that some have described as the antidote to the stuffy hotel wedding.
We're very up front with our prices, and will send you a detailed Price Example on request. Please contact us to ask any questions or to have a look round.

Further info & directions
Additional details: The barn will accommodate 10 round tables, each of which seats 10 people, giving a capacity of 100. There is a permanently-attached marquee which is beautifully fairy-lit and which has views into the garden and Cotswold countryside. This will seat up to 170 people.
We are really proud of our food: We cook great, open fire meals on our 8-spit rotisserie or our giant BBQ (try googling "Godgrilla"), which can accommodate 5 whole lambs. If that sounds like too much meat, we love catering for vegetarian and vegan guests (and entire weddings) with our expertise in mediterranean and middle-eastern food.
Directions by public transport: Nearest station is Kemble (sporadic buses to Cirencester, pre-booked taxis).
Swindon has more trains but a longer and more expensive taxi ride.
Directions by car: From Cirencester take the B4425 to Bibury, then just before Bibury turn sharp left sign-posted Fosscross and Chedworth, reaching the Cripps track on the left after 1.3 miles.
From Oxford take the A40 west then, 1 mile after Burford turn left on the B4425 to Bibury. On leaving Bibury, take the right fork to Fosscross and Chedworth, with the Cripps track 1.3 miles on your left.
SatNav users try Bibury as the town, then Fosscross as the road. Our postcode, GL7 5BA will only work on recently-updated machines. GL7 5ND gets you to Arlington, which is the part of Bibury our side of the Coln River.
