Originally built as two Georgian houses, the Bingham has undergone several incarnations.
Once home to Lady Ann Bingham in 1821, who added the wonderfully ornate room which is now known as the Bingham Bar, and poets Katherine Harris Bradley and Edith Emma Cooper who wrote under the pseudonym Michael Field in 1899, the property's previous residents and rich history have helped shape it.
