Wedding Venue address: Sundridge Park Plaistow Lane Bromley Kent BR1 3TP 0208 313 3232 Directions by public transport: FROM AIRPORTS From London Heathrow The quickest method is to take the Heathrow Express to Paddington Station (15 minutes) then take the District (green) or Circle (yellow) Underground lines to Victoria. Alternatively, you can take the Piccadilly (dark blue) Underground line from Heathrow (change at South Kensington to the District or Circle lines). This route takes about 50 minutes. You can also take the Route A1 Airbus (about 1 hour) to Victoria Station. Then follow the instructions below ‘By train – From London Victoria’. From London Gatwick Take the Gatwick Express to London Victoria Station (about 40 minutes). Then follow the instructions below, ‘From London Victoria’. Alternatively, take the train to East Croydon (about 20 minutes) then take a taxi from East Croydon to Sundridge Park (about 30 minutes). From London City Airport Taking a taxi is the only feasible means of transport from this airport. Taxis from airports Should you wish to travel from either London Heathrow or Gatwick airports by taxi, we recommend that you make contact prior to your arrival with Bromley South Cars (Tel.+44 020 8464 4441), whose fares are considerably cheaper than the black taxis at the airports. (Please note taxis from Heathrow can take one of two routes, either through London or via the M25. The latter is more expensive but can be quicker depending on the time of day and traffi c conditions.) BY TRAIN Note– We suggest you always travel to Bromley South Station and avoid going to Sundridge Park or Bromley North stations, as they have no taxi ranks and, Sundridge Park has a mile-long drive. In addition, both stations are closed on Sundays. From London Victoria There is a frequent service from London Victoria to Bromley South Station – the journey time is about 16 minutes. Then take a taxi from the rank outside the station to Sundridge Park (about 10 minutes). From London City – connections to Thameslink Rail There is a regular service from London Blackfriars Station allowing easy connection with Thameslink Rail services to Bromley South Station (about 20 minutes). Then take a taxi from the rank outside the station to Sundridge Park (about 10 minutes). Directions by car: From London – Central and West Cross the River Thames via Westminster Bridge and follow signs for Elephant & Castle.After one mile, at a large roundabout, take the second exit into New Kent Road signposted to Lewisham. Follow signs to Lewisham and New Cross on the A2 for approximately 4 miles. Just past the New Cross Gate BR/Underground station, bear right onto the A20 following signs for Bromley A21. At the next large roundabout, take the third exit signposted to Bromley A21. Continue on the A21 for approximately 4 miles and at the top of Bromley Hill, just past the Bromley Court Hotel, turn left into London Lane. At a roundabout (which is square) take the second exit into Plaistow Lane. Sundridge Park is 200 yards on the left, past shops and a railway station. From London – East Exit the Blackwall Tunnel south on the A102, which continues into the A2, following signs to Lewisham. Leave the A2 at a junction signposted A205 South Circular. Turn right onto the A205 at the traffic lights signposted South Circular (S). Continue on the A205 following signs to Bromley. After approximately 2 miles, turn left onto the A2212, following signs to Bromley. At a large roundabout (which is square) take the fi rst exit into Plaistow Lane. The entrance to Sundridge Park is 200 yards on the left, past shops and a railway station. From the South and West Join the M25 going anti-clockwise. Exit at Junction 4, signposted to Bromley A21. Follow the A21 into Bromley and after about 8 miles, at a Waitrose store, bear right into Kentish Way. At the set of traffic lights after Bromley North BR Station, filter right into College Road. At the roundabout (which is a square), take the third exit into Plaistow Lane. Sundridge Park is 200 yards on the left, past shops and Sundridge Park Station. From the Midlands and North To avoid London, join the M25 going clockwise and cross the River Thames southbound over the Dartford Bridge. Continue on the M25 for approximately 5 miles and exit at Junction 3, signposted to London SE&C and Lewisham. Follow the A20 for 5 miles and exit on the A222 signposted to Bromley. Remain on the A222 at a set of double traffic lights. At the next set of traffic lights, just past a mini-roundabout, turn right into Plaistow Lane. Proceed up the hill across another mini-roundabout and the entrance to Sundridge Park is 300 yards on the right. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
