Booking/Administration Rating: Review: I am at present in the organisation /planning of an 80th
twins Birthday lunch (party 10th September) and have found
exceptional service from the team in the planning with prompt
replies to any quries I have.I visited the venue (it was a
bright warm sunny day) and most impressed with the surroundings and presentation within. My only small complaint
is in the long drive way to the House the speed humps are not clearly seen and do give a jolt on some, beter indication
woulde help. Will write a review again after the lunchion
party.
May 2010 Rating: Review: Hilton Sheffield promised me a fantastic day and certainly delivered it. Everything from the food to the staff was amazing and I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to my friends and family.
My wedding at the Addington Palace Rating: Review: I got married in June 2011 at the palace. The venue was beautiful and i couldnt have wanted a more beautiful venue. But the organisation of the day was lacking and i as the bride had to manage the bride including telling the waitresses to offer our guests the soft drinks package that we had paid for!
Abington Hall Conference Centre All we cuold have asked for......and mor Rating: Review: From the first time we viewed Abington Hall the service was excellent. The wedding planner, Hazel, listened to what we wanted and offered us a package to suit our requirements.
The space is flexible and we had it set up to suit us, using a combination of rooms. A big bonus was that we could have our ceremony and reception in one place. The Hall is set in lovely grounds with plenty of space.
Everyone loved the food (we went for the BBQ), and it was very reasonably priced compared to many other venues.
Hazel was on hand throughout the day to make sure everything went to plan and we kept to our timings, which was very helpful after a few drinks!
All of the staff were helpful, friendly and attentive to everyone's needs and provided an excellent service. Due to the location we even had a free fly by from the nearby Duxford Air Museum (purely by chance)!
If you go to view this venue don’t be put off by the location on the business park, you really can’t tell it’s there once you are at the hall. We both had a fantastic, hassle free day and loved every minute of it. We would recommend this venue to anyone.
Wonderful Wedding Venue Rating: Review: We would like to thank all the staff at the hotel for the hard work in providing such a wonderful wedding reception. Everything was just as we wanted it. The room looked beautiful, the service was excellent as was the food. Our family & guests had a super weekend!
