Wedding venues in Belfast
Belfast is the capital city of Northern Ireland. Geographically it straddles County Antrim and County Down. The city has been developed over the past decade to become a centre for arts, education and business. The area around the River Lagan is a hub of activity, from restaurants to bars and nightclubs showcasing exceptional modern architecture. Exceptional architecture can be found throughout the city but particularly within the Cathedral Quarter where buildings date back as far as the Edwardian era.
Belfast is split into seven ‘quarters’ in respect of the city’s history. One of these is the Titanic Quarter as the doomed ship was built in Belfast and is still a source of pride in the city. The bustling Queen’s Quarter is a hub of shopping and socialising with more than a little history and culture mixed in. Of course the vibrant town centre is where you will find luxurious hotels, boutiques, wine bars and bistros to fulfil your every need and desire before, during and after the big day.
