The Deck, National Theatre
The Deck is closed for the installation of a brand new, contemporary rooftop venue at the National Theatre designed by Haworth Tompkins Associates
The new space will open in Summer 2018 and replace our current venue, The Deck, and is being developed to cater for the growing demand for events, private parties and weddings on the South Bank. All of the revenue generated by the new event space will support the work of the National Theatre.
During this refurbishment we will not be able to host events in our dedicated events venue, however, if you would like to book one of our meeting rooms at the National Theatre please don’t hesitate to get in touch.

Steeped in history, Devonshire Square was built in the early 1800s and used as warehouses to store goods shipped from Bengal including silk, ivory and mother-of-pearl. The original facade is the soft yellow of 18th century London stock brick. In 2008, the remodelling of Devonshire Square included the addition of the glass roof over the western courtyard, offering an all-weather location and creating a picturesque setting for any occasion. During the week Devonshire Square is a hive of activity but on weekends and bank holidays it is an impressive and tranquil space. Le Secret des Rôtisseurs proposes a very classy but relaxed modern French setting for a wedding with beautiful views of the city skyline. Guests could be welcomed on the heated terrace for drinks and canapés or even lunch if weather permits. The restaurant is suitable for standing, cocktail wedding parties up to 200 or seated dining parties up to 130.
Le Secret des Rôtisseurs offers a bright, private area on the mezzanine with beautiful views on the Thames, the perfect setting for your wedding. While going up to the mezzanine, your guests will have a view of the beautiful hand-crafted open-flame rôtissoires. The Eiffel mezzanine is suitable for standing cocktail or seated parties (up to 40 seated). Some of your guests will be able to dine on Eiffel tower furniture from the old restaurant Altitude 95. A beautiful Wine cellar opens onto the mezzanine.

The jewel in the crown of our London portfolio, Porchester Hall’s classic art deco design and understated elegance make it a sought-after venue for all type of events, from parties, dinner and weddings to music shows, comedy gigs and sporting spectacles. The elegant 1920s building features add a touch of glamour to proceedings, which probably explains why the venue is favoured for fashion shows and filming.
Porchester Hall was opened in 1929 alongside the Turkish Baths and Library on Porchester Road. It
provided the Borough of Paddington with a dignified Public Hall intended primarily for use by the residents
in the area but its beauty and convenience appealed to a wider circle. The foundation stone was laid by the
Mayor Leonard Snell, JP, and this can be found at main entrance to the hall.
After passing through Porchester Hall’s opulent entrance, you are greeted by the stunning spectacle
of its lavish main hall. Regularly used for concerts, banquets, charity events, balls and galas, the hall seats
400 for dinner and holds up to 650 for standing events.

Oxford Town Hall is a beautiful Grade II* Victorian building located in the heart of Oxford.
The Town Hall has five licensed rooms for civil ceremonies and can offer a fantastic combination of iconic location and style for your reception too. Our spaces offer flexibility to host seated dining from 30 to 300 and ceremonies for up to 650.
We pride ourselves on presentation, service and quality and will only have one wedding ceremony in the venue at any one time, so that you and your guests can have our undivided attention.

St James Hotel Nottingham

BMA House is a stunning Grade II listed building; located in fashionable Bloomsbury, London.
This beautiful red brick building was designed in 1911 by architect Sir Edwin Lutyens. The design is neo-classical Palladian and incorporates Portland Stone facades, grand archways, stone Corinthian columns and Westmorland slate roofs.
The building is centred on a courtyard with memorial fountain. Furthermore a private garden with pond, housing physic plants with medicinal properties can be found to the rear of the building; and provides a tranquil outdoor space for reception drinks and photos. The Garden is also famous for being the grounds to the house of Charles Dickens where he is said to have written some of his most famous novels.

Centre stage will be the wedding cake, served as a tiered set of delicate fairy cakes, decorated to your colour theme.
BMA House boasts four opulent spaces, all licensed for wedding ceremonies. The Prince’s Room is ideal for hosting more intimate receptions, accommodating up to 60 guests. While the spectacular Great Hall offers all the grandeur and sophistication needed for larger celebrations of up to 200 guests.
Alternatively the Garden and beautiful Courtyard offer photogenic backdrops for standing drinks receptions during the summer.
