Historic Askham Hall is a distinctly different place to say ‘I do’. Sitting on the edge of the Lake District, this grade I listed hideaway dates back to the late 1200’s and is the former family home
of the Earls of Lonsdale.
As well as a stunning Barn and a Medieval Hall, there is a Pavilion in the Grade II listed gardens, as well as a Gypsy Caravan for couples to sign the register. All set amid 12 acre gardens boasting an orchard, formal lawns and a double herbaceous border. Enjoy uninterrupted views of the River Lowther and surrounding countryside.
The Grade II listed Bank Barn has been sympathetically converted and has capacity for 150 seated guests. Original features such as bare stone walls and an open beamed oak ceiling.
With 18 unique bedrooms and a spa lap up the unpretentious luxury of this 13th Century retreat.
