Firstly, in Ilfracombe, Devon, sits an extraordinary wedding venue that has led one bride to call it the “Perfect wedding venue…who needs Barbados?!!” Tunnels Beaches is a private, secluded garden overlooking the rugged north Devon coastline, which you access via handcarved tunnels in the cliffs. The Dome, West Sussex

Right the way round the coast at Worthing in West Sussex sits the historic The Dome, a superb Edwardian seafront edifice, that offers a flexible and impressive space to cater for all budgets and tastes. Your photographs are bound to be gorgeous, as the venue is just 50 metres from the long pebbly beach. Inside, the beautiful whispering gallery at the top of the building is perfect for ceremonies and has panoramic views of the coastline.

Following the wedding ceremony, your guests can enjoy cocktails and canapes in the Atrium Bar, and the main lounge provides plenty of room for up to 140 guests to enjoy a sit-down meal. The wide-ranging menus (which can be adapted to suit your taste) makes the most of local produce including Sussex cheese, cream and sausages. There are lots of extras on offer at the Dome too, such as a rehearsal dinner the night before, brunch or afternoon tea the day after, and on-the-day specials too such as a photo booth or ice-cream bar.
