London’s Calling

The Happenstance
When it comes to bar and restaurant wedding reception venues, London has the most fantastic choice. Having your civil wedding ceremony or partnership in one of London’s grand registry offices followed by a party with your friends and family in a swanky bar makes for a very laid back and cool option. We’ve been joined by a collection of ultra chic venues by Drake & Morgan which welcome wedding parties..
The Drift London
Located a stroll away from Liverpool Street Station, The Drift is located in the base of the Heron Tower complete with its 7ft high fish tank. This light and airy space is perfect for a gathering of your nearest and dearest on your big day. Menus created around your wish list and a dedicated events team to guide you through creating the best party you’ll ever go to are all yours.
the folly bar
The Folly Bar close to Monument and Bank tube stations serves modern European cuisine in stylish, eclectic surroundings. We think the rooms here offer really flexible space for a wedding reception. The decor is a mix of the retro and the ultra modern.
the anthologist
The Anthologist is an all day bar & kitchen close to St Pauls. It  has two cocktail lounges and a basement wine cellar and a large restaurant where up to a whopping 850 guests can party the night away.
the refinery
The Refinery with its stunning terrace garden, is a hidden gem in central London. Close to Southwark tube station and London Bridge, it offers couples a choice of reception options. A sit down 3 course meal, a show-stopping buffet or champagne reception or whatever you have your heart set on can all be accommodated.
the parlour
Close to Canary Wharf we have The Parlour, an ultra chic bar and restaurant offering a stunning location for a summer wedding reception in the city. Its outside bar and terrace are all set up and ready for action. A winter wedding is equally as perfect here with the large dining room and bar able to fit up to 500 people.
the happenstance
Last but by no means least is the rather fabulous The Happenstance. A treasure trove of beautiful chandeliers, subterranean private dining rooms and ‘the curious treasury’ (a hidden speak easy), this is a quirky venue with masses of appeal. With views across to St Paul’s Cathedral it’s a fantastic London venue.
