Marvel-lous Wedding Outfits
You might be planning on going all-out comic book with a loud and proud print dress and super hero kit under the groomsmen’s suits, or you might be opting for a more subtle look, classic ivory with the odd touch of Marvel in your hair or on their cufflinks – but whatever you go for, try and make it YOUR style! Comic book shoes are available all over the worldwide web, so you’ve got plenty of choice of styles, and there are so many ideas for incorporating your theme into your hair or other accessories!
Bouquets that pack a punch!
Who knew there could be so many takes on Marvel themed bouquets?! I am in absolute awe of the creativity that brides across the globe have shown in incorporating their love of comic books into their bridal bouquets! They use a range of media – buttons, Avengers figurines, origami flowers, to name a few! It is really inspiring and they are so colourful and fun!
You can go absolutely mad on a comic book theme, or focus on one aspect and go with that. The ideas are endless. You could name the tables after Marvel characters, with figurines or centrepieces to match their colours, or you could name them after places that feature in your favourite comics. I love the idea of guests being listed in a Classified Cards tin!
The tables don’t need to be plastered in Marvel comic strip if that isn’t what floats your boat; you can go for a more low-key (Loki!) look, mixing chic seasonal flowers with some découpaged (Mod Podge) initials or vases.
The icing on the cake…
There are so many ideas to borrow from on Pinterest, and the range of Marvel and super hero ideas and the variation is absolutely epic. You can go for something that is THORoughly Marvellous…or you can go for a cake that has a “reveal” element, where the traditional white icing is rolled back like a shirt being ripped open to unleash super hero powers beneath!
Peter Parker-style photography…
If you’re having a Marvel themed wedding, it wouldn’t be complete without a Spiderman Kiss. Make this the one cheesey photo you pose for! Your wedding photos will definitely stand out from the crowd.
