Chichester is a beautiful town to choose to wed in, and if you’re looking for somewhere chic to hold your special day – without the chintz of the typical British seaside hotel – then look no further! The Chichester Harbour Hotel is perfect for every element of a dream wedding. Scrolling through this blog, you’ll see exactly why Tanya and Rob chose to hold their special day here! James White Photos captured their magical moments and has kindly let us share the joy…
After snapping some of the guests in the glamping site nearby and joining them in setting up camp overnight, James headed to the Chichester Harbour Hotel where Tanya and her family started the morning in one of the beautiful hotel suites, preparing for the upcoming nuptials in style. In the luxurious surroundings, Tanya opened her surprise gifts from Rob and shared some happy memories with her lovely bridesmaids.
Tanya looked relaxed and beautiful, prepping for her big day in her kimono dressing gown; laughing and smiling away as she got more and more glamourous as the morning went on. Aimee Pollard did the bridal party’s hair, with vintage inspired hair pieces and flowers, and made them all look sleek and effortless. The gorgeous make up artistry was by Kat Clarke, accentuating the features of her clients perfectly, in an understated but captivating style.
The bridesmaids looked gorgeous in their mink tone dresses, and they all shone with happiness for Tanya. Managing to catch some really lovely intimate family moments, without imposing upon the bride and her loved ones, James shows true talent. “For me, wedding photography is about moments, reactions, emotion and atmosphere…”, and this is exactly what he does for Tanya and Rob, and every wedding he’s done.
Tanya’s stunning dress is from Australian design house “Essense” which she discovered at Catherine Francis Bridal Boutique and it shows off her slim, athletic figure perfectly. The low scooping back and delicate buttons, the lacy detailing and the spaghetti straps, all adding to the mermaid-tailed dress to make it a summery feast for the eyes.
The style of Tanya’s dress was perfect for their chosen venue, which is full of intricate little details – Italian bronze banisters on the sweeping staircases in this modern boutique hotel make the ideal setting for some beautiful wedding photography; from loving Father and Daughter shots walking down, to cheeky or romantic poses at the bottom!
Tanya and her bridesmaids dazzled guests in their long, elegant dresses, with simple yet gorgeous bouquets and flowers in their hair, and – most importantly – beaming smiles and oodles of fun!

Tanya was delighted with James’s photography of their big day, “You will see from James work that he is extremely talented. He is very professional and listens to what you want. He made us both feel at ease and we very quickly forgot that he was there as he disappeared in to the background.” They were impressed with the way he captured all the magical moments of her and Rob’s wedding day. “He has eyes in the back of his head and didn’t miss a moment. We are over the moon with the pictures. If you are looking for your wedding photographer, look no further!” High praise, indeed!
