Wiltshire includes a corner of the Cotswolds and a corner of the New Forest and miles of rolling chalk downland, scattered with old-fashioned English villages. It is also the home of Stonehenge and the mysterious stone circle of Avebury. There may not be too many wedding locations on Salisbury Plain but there are plenty near Stonehenge: a wedding reception at a golf club near Castle Combe or perhaps a civil ceremony in a dramatic castle near Tisbury. Combine a Somerset wedding and reception venue together by hosting your wedding day in a barn. There are plenty of outdoor wedding venues in Wiltshire. Couples could use a wedding marquee or have a picnic wedding breakfast at trestle tables under the clear blue skies if summer.
