Eynsham Hall

About Eynsham Hall wedding venue

The Grade II listed Oxfordshire hotel, set upon 3,000 acres of rolling parkland, provides a quirky blend of elegant period features with a twist of modern design. Rooms boast oak panelled walls, ornate ceilings, historic oil paintings, marble fireplaces and large arched windows which are perfect for gazing out onto the romantic fountains and expansive gardens. In addition to the incredible Jacobean staircase that dominates the reception area and makes for a grand entrance, the myriad of bedrooms are full of individual character and British eccentricity.

It's easy to get to, but hard to leave! With accommodation for up to 150 guests, no two bedrooms are alike at Eynsham Hall, but they all have a similar quirky charm that provides the ultimate romantic backdrop. Couples can expect perfect photo opportunities in the beautiful landscaped gardens with fountains and terraces, complimentary toastmaster, red carpet, the list is endless but entirely created and curated by you. What's more at the end of the day you can retire to your sinfully comfortable bed in the bridal suite, a little luxury to end the celebrations and the perfect place from which to wake up as a married couple as you start the beginning of the rest of your lives together!

Our dedicated wedding specialist at Eynsham Hall will oversee your wedding, from first contact to congratulations as a married couple. Whether you are looking to hold a large, small, formal or informal event, you will find a package to suit you. Nothing is too much trouble and our wedding specialist will ensure that you relax and enjoy the full experience.

Stately not stuffy, your experience will be grand and luxurious but with enough whimsical detail and home comfort to allow you to make yourself at home for a truly memorable experience!

Cuisine

With so many delightful and delectable options available for your wedding breakfast it's sometimes overwhelming having to make a decision. We're predicting a strong leaning towards classic 'feel good food' with a difference, it has to look good, taste even better and It's also important to us to source as much local produce as possible. Head chef Kurt Giger chooses farms including the famous Kelmscott pork, reared just a few miles away!

We have recently lovingly created some new wedding menus that have a strong focus on these aspects, think Kelmscott Farm outdoor reared pork, black pudding crumble, English mustard, grilled leeks, apple sauce, cider cream for main followed by Pimm’s No 1 jelly, sweet candied cucumber, confit oranges, seasonal berries, mint. Both classic dishes but with the extra care and pazazz that you would expect from your wedding breakfast.

If classic just isn’t your thing then turn the wedding breakfast on Its head this year and have an afternoon tea - we don't know many people don’t love Afternoon Tea and Eynsham will not disappoint, lovingly made in house the miniature lemon tart decorated with edible flowers is a favourite! The bride and groom can expect no less attention to detail for their wedding breakfast, a three course extravaganza presented by Eynsham brigade of chefs will leave your guests both full and in awe!
