Dodmoor House is a popular wedding venue near Northampton and has been named the National Winner in The Wedding Industry Awards for Best Wedding Venue 2016, after winning in 2013 too.
Dodmoor House is located within four-acres of private grounds, three miles from M1 J16, and within easy reach of Northampton, Rugby and Milton Keynes.
We are a family-run venue and passionately believe in giving your wedding the personal touch it deserves. Exclusive use is always guaranteed, and we provide you with an extensive list of local suppliers to contact if you choose. Alternatively, we offer the flexibility of sourcing all of your own suppliers if you wish, and we are happy to offer site visits to discuss their plans in more detail.
Dodmoor House is licensed for civil ceremonies and civil partnerships, enabling you to host your wedding at the same venue as the reception and evening party, and is also the perfect place to host your celebrations after a church wedding.
We offer as much - or as little - help in the planning as you want, and will hold an in-depth meeting with you before the day to ensure all details are covered and your day is as perfect as you imagined. We also hold a number of Open Evenings throughout the year, giving you the chance to chat to us about ideas, meet suppliers and show your venue off to family and friends!
The Catesby Barn can seat 90 guests for your wedding breakfast, and with a maximum capacity of 180 guests for the evening celebrations, there is plenty of room for a dance floor as well as informal seating.
Please do get in contact with us if you would like to come for a viewing. We would love to hear about your wedding plans!
The barns at Dodmoor House date back just over 400 years, are Grade II listed and were stylishly converted by Mark and Louise Bradley in a two year renovation project. The venue opened to the public in 2006 and now hosts around 100 weddings per year.
There is lots of flexibility in being able to bring in a range of suppliers (including caterers) and reductions in prices for both winter and midweek weddings.
Only one wedding ever takes place on the same day and there are some really good value drinks packages available.
Mark and Louise are warm and friendly and will go out of their way to ensure your day runs smoothly.
