Oxford Town Hall is a beautiful Grade II* Victorian building located in the heart of Oxford.
The Town Hall has five licensed rooms for civil ceremonies and can offer a fantastic combination of iconic location and style for your reception too. Our spaces offer flexibility to host seated dining from 30 to 300 and ceremonies for up to 650.
We pride ourselves on presentation, service and quality and will only have one wedding ceremony in the venue at any one time, so that you and your guests can have our undivided attention.
We also have a piano and an organ in our recently repainted Main Hall which can be hired for your wedding celebrations.
Directions by car:
To reach the Town Hall by car, the recommended route to avoid city centre roads is via Abingdon Road. Follow the Ring Road for directions to Redbridge Park and Ride. Turn into Abingdon Road and continue past Redbridge Park and Ride all the way along the road until you reach signs saying bus and taxi entrance only. You will have to filter left into Oxpens Road. A short way along Oxpens Road at the first set of traffic lights turn right then right again into Speedwell Street. Continue to the traffic lights at the end and turn left. You are now in St Aldates, the Town Hall is the large building on the right at the end by the crossroads at Carfax. You will have to make a U-turn at the traffic lights at the crossroads to be able to stop outside the building.
