Here you can enjoy exclusive use of this Grade 2 listed Georgian Mansion for your Civil Ceremony; Civil Partnership and Reception whilst making a contribution to the Royal London Society for the Blind who receive all the profits from the events.
The Hospitality suite comprises of The Library, which seats up to 120 guests for a Wedding Breakfast, the room is renowned for its sweeping oak staircase, where you can make a dramatic entrance to your waiting guests. Also it’s elaborate gilded marble fireplace which dominates the room. The three smaller rooms all have interconnecting doors – allowing you flexibility to tailor the venue to the size of your Wedding Party. These rooms (Wedgwood; Thomas Lucas and Panelled Dining Room) All open out onto the terrace and grounds where in fine weather guests can enjoy the beautiful grounds.
Directions by car:
From the East – Exit the M20 and M26 at Wrotham Heath and follow the A25
to Seal, turn left into Seal Drive just after the shops on your right.
From the West – Exit the M25 at junction 5 to join the A21 to Hastings.
Leave the A21 to join the A25 at Sevenoaks and follow the A25 to Seal. Just
before you reach the Seal Village sign, turn right into Seal Drive.
From the South – Exit the A21 to join the A25 at Sevenoaks and follow the
A25 at Sevenoaks. Follow the A25 through two roundabouts in Riverhead
and continue to follow the A25 to Seal. Just before you reach the Seal
Village sign, turn right into Seal Drive.
Directions by public transport:
From London – Take the direct line from Charing Cross (trains from Charing
Cross also call at Waterloo East and London Bridge) to Sevenoaks station.
From here, take a short taxi ride or bus no. 425 or 308 to Seal Village (buses
run approx. every 30 minutes – ask to be dropped off at Seal Drive) where it
is a short walk to Dorton House along Seal Drive.
