Home to the Leigh Centurions Rugby League Club and Blackburn Rovers Premiership Reserves team, Leigh Sports Village was opened by Her Majesty the Queen in May 2009.

Directions North Bound:
Leave the M6 at Junction 22 (Northbound).
At end of the slip road turn right at the roundabout onto Winwik Lane.
Continue to the end of the road (approximately 2 miles) and turn right.
Continue straight on through the first set of traffic lights.
At the second set of traffic lights (opposite a Texaco garage) turn right onto the East Lancashire road (A580).
Turn left at the first set of traffic lights (signposted Pennington Flash) onto Atherleigh Way.
Continue forward through the traffic lights to a mini roundabout.
Leigh Sports Village is situated on the right.
Directions West Bound:
M60 west bound
Exit the M60 at junction 14 onto the A580
Continue straight ahead through numerous sets of traffic lights
At the roundabout continue straight on
At the next set of traffic lights turn right onto A579 (Atherleigh Way) also sign posted Pennington Flash
At the traffic lights continue straight ahead
At the mini roundabout turn right.

Leigh Sports Village has its own dedicated bus stop located directly outside the stadium which is serviced by route number 597. Other routes and services include 34, 598 and 600 from Leigh Bus Station which run every 30 minutes and are within walking distance of the site.
Artherton Train Station is located approximately 4 miles for Leigh Sports Village, with services running on a regular basis within the Greater Manchester area. Bus stops are located in close proximity to the train station with the 582 service to Leigh town centre running every 10 minutes.
