Having recently acquired a wedding licence, Cinnamon Kitchen – the sister venture from founder and executive chef Vivek Singh of The Cinnamon Club -- is now able to host civil ceremonies. From the nuptials to the dinner and the dancing, there are a series of spaces to choose from in the heart of the City.
Ceremonies can be hosted on the terrace outside, which can accommodate 100 standing or 40 sitting. The terrace can also be tailored to create a bespoke arrangement, and with an exotic, Indian-inspired tent available for hire – dubbed ‘The Maharaja Marquee’ -- the ceremony can continue whatever the weather.
After champagne and award-winning canapés – having won the Square Meal Venues & Events Canapé Cup three times -- a wedding feast of modern Indian cuisine can be taken in the restaurant, or, for smaller groups, in the 12-seat private dining room. Standout dishes include Rajasthani spiced roast red deer with stir-fried mushroom, French black leg chicken with fresh fenugreek, and tandoori king prawns with Bengali kedgeree.
Finally, wedding parties can enjoy drinks and dancing in the venue’s bar Anise. With a large dance floor, there’s more than enough space for a DJ or three-piece band, while a cocktail menu of Cinnamon Bellinis and Spiced Kir Royals adds an exotic twist to proceedings.
