The Vean is a magnificent venue for a wedding and is licensed for civil ceremonies. The Vean nestles in the wooded Porthluney Valley, in a tranquil setting, with stunning views over the Caerhays Castle gardens. Its idyllic rural location is less than a mile from Porthluney beach. It offers individuality and unobtrusive service in a home from home atmosphere. We can cater for small numbers at The Vean. The terrace to the side of The Vean can be covered by a marquee creating an extra room with magnificent views over the Porthluney Valley and Castle gardens. This creates a seating area for forty people. The drawing room and dining room, where more guests can be seated, lead directly onto the terrace. A small marquee can be erected on the Vean lawn to provide extra space and a dancing area. Larger parties can be catered for in a marquee in the Castle grounds with the romantic backdrop of Caerhays Castle on one side and Porthluney beach on the other.
Your are guaranteed complete privacy at The Vean and the house is yours for the occasion.
We are happy to help you with the planning of your event and to liaise with you to ensure that everything runs smoothly on the day. We can help you with lists of suppliers, who work with us regularly, and a selection of caterers, florists, photographers, musicians and marquee hire companies.
