The gallery is situated on a historic site and was formally the stable block of the Prison Camp of 1796 during the Napoleonic Wars. Opposite the gallery is the former Commandants House and the extensive grounds are a perfect backdrop for photographs. There is still the remainder of the wall surrounding the camp with a beautiful arch looking out on to open fields. The gallery can accommodate 35 people and a bespoke wedding ceremony can be arranged by a Family Celebrant.
There is disabled access and off road parking. A 5 minuite walk away is a Premier Travel Inn where guests can stay overnight. Just 5 miles away is Peterborough City centre with a beautiful Cathedral and a shopping opportunity. If you are looking for a venue with a difference then this is the one.
As this is rather an unusual venue, it would be appropriate to view and discuss your individual requirements.
