An intimate, wood-panelled, Queen Anne period front hall is the perfect setting for both winter and summer wedding ceremonies for up to fifty people, whilst wedding receptions for up to two hundred can be held in a number of venues throughout Moreton Hall, including; stunning marquee in the walled garden, beautiful beamed gallery and a substantial hall. Each wedding at Moreton is unique as we work closely with every couple to create their own special day; from menu planning to colour schemes the day will be entirely yours

Every couple gets the chance to write their own menu. Set menus can be provided, we however like to work alongside each couple to write a menu suitable for their needs and requirements
Directions by car:
Moreton Hall is on the A5, 3 miles north of Oswestry and a 20 minute drive from Shrewsbury or Chester. To avoid this right turn across the A5, turn right at the A5/B5070 roundabout towards Weston Rhyn. After half a mile and just before the level crossing turn left into the rear entrance of the school.

From the North (Manchester, Liverpool and all points North) Aim for Chester and North Wales on the M56, bypass Chester on the M53 and A55 and then take the A483 towards Wrexham. Remain on the A483, bypassing Wrexham, and then join the A5. Shortly after the Welsh/English border you will come to the A5/B5070 roundabout. Carry on straight ahead on the A5 and take the first right after the Shell service station into the front entrance of Moreton Hall.
From the South (Birmingham direction) From the M54 follow signs for North Wales and continue up the A5 Shrewsbury bypass, past Oswestry, heading towards Llangollen/Wrexham. Ignore signs to Oswestry and continue on the A5. Moreton Hall is on the left just past the signs to Gobowen and Hengoed and almost opposite the Lion Quays Hotel (on right).
Directions by public transport:
The nearest station is Gobowen which is a 5 minute taxi drive from the school.
Manchester, Liverpool and Birmingham international airports are approximately an hour away.
