It is the ultimate country wedding retreat, offering a beautiful and historic hall to hire for wedding parties of up to 30 people, or, when hired with the newly converted adjacent barn, larger weddings can be catered for (140 seated and 200 evening guests).
On its own, the ancient Hall is a stunning and intimate venue for a civil ceremony, dating back an incredible 700 years and offering an elegant and true country feel, with many fine original features including oak staircases and a “sweet-toned bell”.
The drawing room is licensed for civil ceremonies, with fine features such an original stone fireplace and floor to ceiling windows. An attractive dining room seats 20+ for an intimate wedding breakfast and the Hall itself sleeps 20 people in ten bedrooms, with five bathrooms. The space offers many opportunities for charming and unique wedding photography.
Upon hiring the adjacent 17th century beamed barn, which has recently been renovated to offer an incredible new wedding venue, your marriage ceremony can be transformed to a much larger affair for up to 140 guests, hosted from within the striking interior of the barn with its Medieval Hall, Minstrel’s Gallery and Banqueting Hall space. An additional two en suite bedrooms accommodating four further guests are also available in the barn.
