About Battersea Arts Centre wedding venue

The Grand Hall has a long history of hosting wedding receptions and they continue to take place almost weekly throughout the year. The Council Chamber, which has been used as our main theatre for the last 30 years, is also available to host marriage celebrations, and is the perfect alternative option for more intimate gathering.

Seating up to 350 guests in round tables, is the perfect space for large or more lavish occasions. On arrival your guests will enter the beautiful glass domed atrium and adjacent bar, the perfect space for a glass of pre-dinner champagne, before moving into the breath-taking surrounds of the Hall itself.

The Council Chamber, steeped in history both theatrical and political, and restored to its splendid original architecture, is the ideal seating for more intimate celebrations. Entering via our main foyer and ascending our impressive marble staircase, the Council Chamber can accommodate up to 120 people at round tables, or 200 for standing receptions.

BAC offers couples the perfect creative environment for a truly unique wedding. Whichever space you choose, it is yours for the day and you can decide exactly how you want it to look. Our Technical Team will be on hand to discuss sound and lighting designs. Our new preferred caterers offer a range of services designed specifically for BAC.

The Grand Hall, Octagonal Hall (Grand Hall foyer) and the main foyer marble staircase are all licensed for Civil Ceremonies.
