Welcome to the enchanting wonderland of Hambledon House; where modern luxuries meld with old world charm and character. The aura of generations of happy family life and entertaining greets you at the door and holds you like few properties ever do.
Hambledon House is set in stunning grounds right in the heart of Hambledon village in the Surrey Hills; a stones throw from Haslemere, Godalming and Chiddingfold, and just 55 minutes from Gatwick Airport.
The area is steeped in history with many famous people choosing it as their launch pad to London. The composer Edward Elgar sought refuge during the war in nearby Petworth; the writer Aldous Huxley was born in Godalming and spent great amounts of time cycling and walking at Hindhead and around The Devil's Punchbowl, a place of immense beauty; Beatrix Potter had a holiday home near Guildford; Barnes Wallis who invented the bouncing bomb used during the Dam Busters raids lived nearby; the playwright George Bernhard Shawe lived at Hindhead; the list goes on.
