Homme House is a peaceful country house in rural Much Marcle on the Herefordshire, Worcestershire and Gloucestershire borders. It is set in beautiful gardens containing a 17th century summerhouse, surrounded by 190 acres of parkland and woodland and with extensive views of the Malvern Hills and the Cotswolds beyond.
Three rooms in house are licensed for civil ceremonies and also the 17th century Summerhouse in the walled garden. For church weddings, St. Bartholomew's lies on the edge of the estate parkland, 1000m from the main house along the parkland drive.
We can accommodate up to 90 for a wedding breakfast in the house or up to 140 in a lawn marquee, with a maximum of 140 guests at the evening celebrations. We are happy to provide recommendations on potential suppliers but do not prescribe exclusive partners. We do not charge unexpected, costly extras such as corkage, offering couples a single, transparent venue fee.
We only book one wedding per weekend so you will have exclusive use of all reception rooms, accommodation and gardens for the days surrounding your wedding.
Homme offers a range of sleeping accommodation in 3 unique and beautiful spaces, allowing couples to accommodate up to 30 on the Estate for their wedding.
Our spacious Bridal Suite has a light and spacious bedroom with four poster bed and large en suite bathroom, as well as an adjacent Bridal Dressing and Drawing Room for bride and bridesmaid preparations on the day of the wedding. 8 further bedrooms, all doubles and/or twins including one family room sleeping up to 4, allow 20 to be accommodated in the main house.
The 3 floor 18th century Coach House offers 4 double en suite bedrooms as well as a farmhouse style kitchen, drawing room with inglenook fireplace and private courtyard garden, all in a relaxed and cosy self-contained home.
Homme's unique and picturesque 17th century Summerhouse at the top of the garden is available as a romantic and simple overnight stay from May to September. The Summerhouse offers a cosy ground floor bedroom with four poster bed, as well as an upper chamber with wood burning stove and beautiful views of the Malverns and Cotswolds beyond. A separate bathroom is metres away through a gate in the walled garden wall.
All of our accommodation in the main house, Coach House and Summerhouse is reserved for and in the gift of the Bride and Groom. There is no obligation to use the accommodation.
The Herefordshire Licensing Authority requires all guests who are not staying overnight to leave by 12.15am
