The Castle has an eccentric and homely blend of styles and periods, from the elegant 1700 Drawing Room with sunset island views to the arts and crafts Victorian Dining Room with it's original William Morris wallpaper. Kelburn Castle is simply the perfect backdrop to make your event a memorable one.
For many getting married in a Castle satisfies a childhood dream of being a princess. Kelburn offers fabulous backdrops, both inside and out, to frame that perfect day. With turrets and keeps, the architecture and history we can transport you back to a bygone era in an instant.

Kelburn Castle and the Estate has the appropriate licence to host civil ceremonies and is firmly established as one of the foremost venues for the celebration of marriage on the West Coast of Scotland. We are delighted to be licenced in five areas of the estate. We also welcome humanist and religious weddings too.
We can accommodate up to 50 guests for your wedding breakfast in the Castles Victorian Dining Room with it's sunset views over the gardens and the Isle of Cumbrae. But if you are looking for something a little bit different why not entertain your guests on the front lawn with a Hog Roast and a game of croquet.
